The Explorers

How exciting is this. Serena has joined us! A great singer with amazing stage presence she joins Kim and Leita to create the most formidable vocal line up. I would struggle to think of any band that has the strength and depth of the vocal talent we now have.

We had a first vocal rehearsal last night and decided to try something very big. We took on the Moulin Rouge version of Lady Marmalade and the girls nailed it. It may be worth you putting this track on to remind yourself how tough this song is. Incredible harmonies and the girls swapped the lead vocals which really brought the song to life.

Our challenge now is to find songs that capitalise on the fact that the Explorers now has six great vocalists. Only Tim on the drums is reluctant to join in!

So watch this space for new songs and news of progress. We may yet form a gospel choir!
